Karina Balko completed her degree in Optometry at Aalen University in summer 2026. During her studies, she developed a particular interest in rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Following an internship at a contact lens fitting institute, she focused her bachelor’s thesis on the manual modification of rigid contact lenses, combining clinical practice with technical expertise in specialty lens fitting.
