Dr. Sherry J. Bass is a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the SUNY College of Optometry and is involved in clinical teaching and patient care for 45 years. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She has over 175 publications and has presented over 500 lectures at national and international meetings on ocular disease. She received the 2016 SUNY Alumna of the Year Award and the 2022 Vincent Ellerbrock Clinician Educator Award.
